The PGA's old guard will have to negotiate Northants County after it was confirmed the club would again host the Senior PGA Professional Championship.
The challenging Harry S Colt-designed course staged the tournament last year where Austria-based professional Donald Stirling triumphed.
Northants County proved a tough nut to crack over the three days of tournament play with only four under-par rounds being carded.
Stirling, who is professional at Wien-Sussenbrunn, shot a five-under par 211 to claim victory over the 6,511 yard par 70 course.
Northants County opened in 1910 and has stood the test of time as major modifications were only made in 1947 when James Braid, one of the Great Triumvirate, altered the bunker layout and re-positioned the 18th green.
More recently a further three holes designed by top course architect, Cameron Sinclair, were opened in May 2004.
