An exciting line-up of regional qualifier venues awaits PGA members chasing a place in the grand final of the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship.
Among the eight qualifying courses is Hindhead which has the nickname 'Little Switzerland' in reference to its valleys and sloping terrain.
The Surrey club is one of five new venues for this year's regional qualifiers alongside Hadley Wood, Burnham & Berrow, Blairgowrie and Moortown, which is also staging the final.
Little Aston, West Lancashire and County Louth make up the final qualifying venues.
Hindhead head professional Ian Benson is one of hundreds of PGA pros who will be bidding to reach the final and is hoping home advantage in the qualifier will see him through.
"I know where not to hit the ball on the tough holes, I just hope my ball knows too," he said.
"However, many of the south-based PGA boys have played Hindhead so I don't know if I will have too much of an advantage."
With the vision to make the qualifying experience as prestigious and memorable as the final itself, it's hoped the renamed championship will attract record entries.
The East Region kicks off the qualifiers at the Alister MacKenzie-designed Hadley Wood on Monday, April 21 followed by the West Region's Burnham & Berrow on April 28.
Little Aston, designed by the legendary Harry Vardon, hosts the Midland qualifier on Wednesday, April 30 with County Louth staging the Irish version on Wednesday, May 7.
Moortown is the focal point for the North (East) qualifier on Monday, May 19, while Hindhead is the challenge facing the South Region on Thursday, May 22.
The final qualifiers are at Scotland's Blairgowrie on Monday, June 2 while West Lancashire hosts the North (West) qualifier a week later on June 9.
The grand final is at Moortown from July 31-August 1.
