Techno First At PGA T&CC

Published in:

Renowned putting designer and coach Dave Hicks is to unveil ground-breaking laser technology at next month's PGA National Teaching and Coaching Conference.

Hicks presentation is set to be one of the highlights of the two-day event at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on May 7 and 8.

Other headline speakers include Sir Clive Woodward, Chuck Cook and Chris Jenkins with an overall theme to learn more about player development.

"It's an exciting development and anyone attending the conference will get a sneak preview of the latest technology coming to the market," said Hicks whose Hampshire firm makes advance machine tools for Formula One and the air industry.

"These are not just lasers that you stick on the putter - they are laser cartridges built into the putter.

"What we have created is real time so you can see what's happening with the player in terms of aim, alignment, toe up and down and rotation stroke mechanics.

"It's very exciting and I'm sure coaches will find it fascinating."

To secure a place at the conference, which offers 100 CPD points, contact emma.reynolds@pga.org.uk

The price of a ticket is £264.37 (including VAT) and also includes all refreshments and lunch on both days. This represents great value and a real opportunity to learn more about player development.
