Anglo-Scot Gordon Brand junior, a Ryder Cup player in 1987 and 1989, rolled back the years to tie with David Orr (East Renfrewshire) for individual victory in the Teddy Bear Foundation Invitational pro-am over the Ailsa course at Westin Turnberry Resort .
Both players came back in 33 to share the spotlight on three-under-par 66 and they also parred the last hole when a birdie would have been a tie-breaker.
Euan Little (County Tipperary) led the SPM trio of amateurs, Ian Gillies (handicap 6), Ian Malloch (18) and Malcolm McLean (9) to victory in the team event with a net score of 13-under-par 125.
