Michael Mulryan stormed up the leaderboard with a joint best-of-the-tournament second round 68 to join Robert Giles and Brendan McGovern on the winner's rostrum after the Shell EP Ireland PGA Pro-am at Carne.
The Athenry pro's four-under-par gave him a one-under-143 for the 36-hole weekend event at Broadhaven Bay.
In the opening round, Dunmurry attaché Gary Wardlow posted a 68 to be the halfway leader but he slipped back during the second round to a 77 and finished in joint seventh place along with Gerry Burke.
Burke, head professional at the Curragh Club, led home the winning team with his amateurs being Joe Kenny who plays off 12 out of Greystones, Danny Glackin, a Newtownstewart 13-handicapper, and Seamus McDonnell, a 17-handicapper from Balcarrick.
