Miguel Angel Jimenez catapulted himself to the top of the leaderboard after a sensational hole-in-one at the £3.6m BMW PGA Championship.
The Spanish golfer struck a decisive blow with a four iron at the 206-yard par 3 fifth to move into a share of the lead with Oliver Wilson at 11 under par. It was the 23rd hole-in-one in the history of the event and Jimenez's second of the season.
Meanwhile overnight leader Robert Karlsson was a shot further back after seeing his four shot lead evaporate with two bogeys in his first three holes.
Retief Goosen signed off with a 66 to stand at seven under for the tournament while Luke Donald fired a 65 including birdies on the final three holes to move to nine under par.
