The Thorpeness pair of PGA assistant Chris Oldrey and seven-handicap Richard Newton built on their joint overnight lead to win the Design Portfolio Marketing PGA Autumn Classic by a single shot on their home course.
After an impressive opening day foursomes round of 67 at Aldeburgh, they followed up with a better-ball round of nett 69.
A delighted Oldrey, who collected a cheque for £750 and a few wagers from friends, said: "The good news was that we did not three-putt on either day. We were getting up and down well and I chipped in from 35 yards for a par at the fifth.
Richard carried me through the third and fourth holes and had a net birdie at the 15th which was crucial."
Newton has won this event in the past when partnered by Norfolk professional Ian Ellis.
There were joint runners-up up one shot behind. Joe Braddon of the Tilsworth Golf Centre and amateur Jeff Buffenbargen, who started on the 17th tee, dropped three shots during their final four holes including a double bogey on the 13th.
Robert Brightman of Millbrook and Dave Steele had the best second round score of 67 to lift them to second place.
