The PokerStars Manx Classic, the jewel in the PGA North Region crown for nearly 30 years, has a new title sponsor, a change of venue - and will be televised by Sky Sports.
The three round pro-am, carrying a £25,000 prize-fund, moves inland from its original Castletown home to Mount Murray at the end of next month.
"It has a fantastic infrastructure and the course provides a stern but fair test," said regional secretary Graham Maly.
"The club is unrivalled on the island with competitors benefiting from practice and leisure facilities at the four-star hotel complex."
In addition to PokerStars, island businesses Doherty Quinn, Cubbin and Bregazzi, Luminaires, RBS Coutts and Escape Properties are also supporting the event on July 29-August 1.
It is being driven locally for the second year and organiser John Tinsley said: "It was important this year we were able to provide the essential facilities which in recent years have been difficult to access at Castletown.
"Competitors will be able to enjoy the wide range of facilities in addition to be able to stay on site. I am grateful to all sponsors and the hotel management for being so supportive.
"In addition to the excellent hotel facilities we are hopeful that we will be able to stage a Poker tournament on July 30 in aid of local charities and the TV coverage is another added benefit of taking part in the pro-am.
Everything is in place to make this year's PokerStars Manx Golf Classic the best yet."
The Manx Classic has been regularly listed as one of the UK's biggest pro-ams and attracts several past and present European Tour along with leading PGA North Region professionals.
