Barnham Broom hosted its first Norfolk PGA pro-am in four years in cold, windy but dry conditions.
First professional prize was shared by Norfolk PGA captain Ryan Pudney from Royal Cromer and Gary Potter of the Links Country Park Hotel and Golf Club. Both players returned scores of two-under-par 70.
Joint runners-up, four shots off the pace, were Mark Allen of Eaton, host professional Alan Hemsley and Neil Mitchell of the Bury Golf Range in Suffolk. Allen went to the top of the Dingles Toyota Norfolk Order of Merit in its fledgling stage.
Chris Potter of Norfolk Premier Golf led the winning team of Shaun Larkins, Chris Aulert and Nigel Turner with 11-under-par 133. Allen, Roger Finney, Dave Thomas and Mark Taylor were two shots behind. The third team with 138 was Gary Ireson (Marriott Sprowston Manor) with amateurs Neal Spence, Lawrence Osborne and Steve Bonner.
