About the PGA Europro Tour

At the start of 2002, the Europro Tour and the PGA Mastercard Tour joined forces to create Europe's leading developmental tour, the PGA Europro Tour.

With over 500 members and a prize fund exceeding £1 million, the PGA Europro Tour has grown in stature as well as in size year upon year.

It provides vital experience of life on the tour circuit to not only help lift players to the level required for the main European Tour, but also to prepare them for the challenges that await once they get there.

The Tour provides a chance for up and coming young professionals to gain the necessary experience in competitive golf, and in particular of the additional pressures involved with televised competitions.

Every event on the Tour is shown as a 90-minute highlight programme on Sky Sports in the UK, as well as being shown on the Golf Channel in the USA, Viasat in Scandinavia, ESPN Latin America and ESPN Star throughout Asia.

The Tour aims to provide a launchpad for the stars of tomorrow.

One of the most high-profile graduates of the PGA Europro Tour is John E Morgan, who stunned the world in 2002 by gaining both his USPGA Tour Card and European Tour Card in his rookie year.
