About the PGA International Seniors

The PGA International Seniors is a brand new and exciting addition to the European Seniors Tour.

It owes its debut on the schedule thanks to the generous support of sponsor Weston Homes who have signed a three year deal to back the event.

The tournament's title is recognition of the international field which will be competing for the £175,000 prize fund among the rolling hills of Constable Country in rural Suffolk at the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa.

Weston Homes' sponsorship also means The Professional Golfers' Association now has a second event on the seniors' schedule to add to its PGA Seniors Championship that remains the tour's longest running event.

Stoke by Nayland Hotel is no stranger to hosting seniors' tour events having staged the PGA Seniors Championship for the last two years.

Sam Torrance and Carl Mason were victorious on those occasions and with some of the best greens on the circuit, the PGA International Seniors looks set to be a popular event with some of Europe's finest over 50s players.
