The inaugural Women’s PGA Cup took place at Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas from October 2019.
The 54-hole competition, the first international event for women PGA Professionals, saw the United States come out on top as they dug deep to hold off Canada and capture the trophy by four strokes. Great Britain & Ireland finished third on 698 points, followed by Australia (715) and Sweden (725).
The 2022 event consisted of seven teams: Australia, Canada, Great Britain & Ireland, South Africa, Sweden and the United States. GB&I (pictured) led the tournament with nine holes to go on the final day, but they were pipped for victory by the US hosts at Twin Warriors Golf Club, New Mexico.
