The Role:
Reporting to our Head of Communications, working collaboratively across the organisation to promote PGA Members, PGA products, services and brand activities through all channels - with a specialist focus on digital - the Senior Digital Marketing Executive will:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns and strategies including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, SEO, SEM and paid search campaigns
- Monitor campaign budgets, identify growth strategies and enhanced product promotion
- Measure key metrics, preparing reports and generating recommendations/insight on performance against objectives
- Identify end-to-end customer touchpoints, assess experience and behaviour to create action plans
- Optimise and improve the journeys for each of our customer types
- Build marketing automation journeys for retargeting and upsell purposes
- Assist with shaping the product roadmap for the digital journeys and work collaboratively to deliver target outcomes
- Coordinate external parties to help deliver the digital marketing plan within the agreed cost and time parameters
- Work with the media team to create engaging and effective content
Whilst this is a permanent, full-time role with the core hours of the business being 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday, occasional weekend, evening and/or bank holiday working are essential to fulfil this role. This role is eligible for hybrid working from day one of employment which offers more flexibility in working hours and - dependent on role requirements - the opportunity to spend up to 60% of the week working remotely.
Role Requirements: Education/Qualifications/Key Competencies/Personal Profile Includes:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or relevant experience;
- Extensive experience in digital marketing with proven results of increasing engagement, revenues and other targeted outcomes
- Experience in the use of digital tools (Google analytics, data studio, email marketing and task automation software)
- Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms and digital advertising best practices
- A knowledge of the latest trends and technologies
- Ability to understand the importance of web design, development, web usability and accessibility
- Being a natural communicator that builds strong relationships (excellent verbal, listening and written skills)
- Strong analytical thinking skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and an attitude that inspires colleagues to turn ideas into reality
- An understanding of the needs and demands of the business, PGA Members and the golf industry is preferable
- An interest in golf is essential to the role
