Competition is set to be fierce in the £80,000 Lombard Trophy with more than 600 clubs entered in the 16 regional qualifiers.
And spaces are filling up fast with Little Aston and Burnham & Berrow already full.
But there remain several attractive qualifying venues available including Ryder Cup venue, The K Club, Ladybank, Lambourne, Coventry, Kingswood and Pleasington.
The winning club from each of the qualifiers will go through to compete in the 36-hole grand final over the King’s course at Gleneagles with a first prize of £12,000 up for grabs for the winning pro.
PGA head of tournaments Simon Higginbottom commented: “We’ve had a great response with entries to date but there is still plenty of time for clubs to get involved.
“Playing in the Lombard Trophy is one of the highlights for any club, offering a rare opportunity for PGA pros to compete alongside amateurs. It is also generates great interest among the wider membership and we would encourage all clubs to participate, especially with a dream final at Gleneagles for the 16 regional winners.”
