Adrian Ambler, who enjoyed his best season in PGA North events last year when he topped the Order of Merit, continued his fine form in the Hatfields Jaguar Brough Classic.
The 42-year-old professional from Wakefield club Low Laithes leapfrogged overnight leader Grant Hamerton to prevail by a shot from Haigh Hall's Craig Corrigan, adding a 67 to his opening 63 for a six-under-par total.
Hamerton, from Pike Fold and fresh from his victory in the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship at Delamere Forest last Friday, dropped two strokes on the home stretch for a 70 as Ambler picked up two in the final three holes.
Corrigan came up on the rails to finish with three birdies on the bounce from the 14th as he posted a 64.
Meanwhile, Ambler will draw much confidence from his victory as he prepares to defend his De Vere PGA North Championship title at Blackpool's Herons' Reach on June 19-20.
