Andrew George of Ely City won the annual Royal Worlington Golf Club pro-am with a four-under-par round of 66 that included eight birdies and an eagle.
Runner-up was Stuart Brown of Orton Meadows three shots off the pace at the nine-hole course called the “Sacred Nine” by Bernard Darwin.
Third place was shared by Luke Bowers (Links, Newmarket) and Ian Ellis (Great Yarmouth and Caister) at one-over-par 71.
Jason Boast (Cambridge Golf Range) took fifth place with 72. Five players tied for sixth. They were Ben Kerr (West Suffolk Golf Centre), Rob Pritchard (Cretingham), Andrew Thorpe (Peterborough Milton), Murray White (Penfold Park) and Neil Mitchell (Bury Golf Range).
Brown and five-handicap Dai Rowley-Jones won the team prize with 62. George and Charlie Rains were runners-up with 65.
