Annual awards set to recognise coaching excellence

PGA Professionals will be hoping to take their place among the cream of British sports coaches at The UK Coaching Awards 2013.

Nominations are now being accepted for coaches who deserve recognition at the annual ceremony, which will be held at Montcalm Hotel in London on Tuesday 3 December.

In total nine awards will be on offer to coaches at the Gillette supported event, with a further three for organisations who have supported coaching initiatives during the course of the year.

The evening’s top prize will be the UK Coach of the Year Award, an honour which was bestowed on athlete Jessica Ennis’ tutor Toni Minichiello last time around.

This year’s ceremony will also crown the first Disability Coach of the Year, and will include regional awards for the Gillette Community Coach of the Year for the first time.
