Another Oscar winning performance

With one more scorching performance, Royal Mid Surrey’s Oscar Granstrom Livesey has won the Battle Bowl and the Titleist & FootJoy PGA South Winter Series Order of Merit.

Leading after eight events, Granstrom Livesey tied with Rustington Golf Centre’s Michael Bullen on 42 points to tie for victory in the final one, the Titleist & FootJoy Assistants & Trainees BetterBall Pro-Am at Farnham.

Bullen and Granstrom Livesey each banked winners’ cheques of £382, edging out the 41 points of third placed Kevin O’Connell from Purley Downs, who picked up the sponsors ball, glove and shoe contract.

As the Winter Series OOM winner, Granstrom Livesey also picked up a custom fit Titleist 918 Driver, a pair of FootJoy MyJoy shoes and a cash bonus.

PGA Regional Manager Sam Smith said, “Thanks once again to the great support we’ve enjoyed from Titleist & FootJoy, our 2017-2018 Winter Series has been yet another massive success. Our Members have played on some of the region’s finest courses, and again we’ve seen record numbers competing.”

Summarising, he said: “Congratulations to Oscar on winning the Battle Bowl, and to all the other winners over the past six months. I’ve no doubt we’ll see some of these players on more leaderboards during 2018.”
