Phil Archer, Birchwood Golf Club, hit the bull's-eye when he powered to victory in the opening event of the PGA North Players' Tour at Prestbury.
The former European player got off to a flying start with four birdies on the opening six holes then added three more on the way home. The 13th was his only unlucky hole where he walked off the green with a bogey, but his six-under-par 65 left the rest of the field trailing in his wake.
Penrith's Tim Dykes claimed second spot on one-under-par while Abergele's Stuart Runcie, Bramall Park's Oliver Whitely and Aran Wainwright, from Mid Yorks, shared third place on level par.
The closing event is at Lancaster on April 6.
