Coaching Mindset Girl Lesson

The PGA is encouraging its members to take part in a survey to measure the long term impact of its ‘right coach; right time; right place’ vision for the sport.

The questionnaire has been developed to help evaluate the ‘right coach; right place; right time’ philosophy which is at the core of the Association’s drive to put its members at the heart of golf.

Aimed at both PGA pros and their supporting volunteer coaches, the survey is designed to understand hearts, minds and emotions and key areas will include asking coaches if they see themselves as being at the heart of golf, do they believe great coaching is integral to the culture of the sport and also ask how they add value for their club or facility.

Other areas will look at motivation and relationships.

Jane Booth, PGA head of coaching systems, said: “Completing this survey provides PGA Professionals with the opportunity to contribute to the on-going development of the ‘right coach; right place; right time’ philosophy for golf coaching that will ensure it continues to be relevant and effective in supporting the PGA Professional to position themselves at the heart of golf.”
