Nick Pateman retained his Middlesex Open title with a two-shot success at Haste Hill.
The Pinner Hill PGA Professional shot rounds of 71 and 67 to finish at two-over-par to defeat James Taverner (Hendon) by two shots.
Michael Moore (Pinner Hill) held the lead after the opening 18 holes, firing a level-par 68.
But Pateman seized control in the afternoon with some fine golf, including a pair of birdie twos on his outward nine. They featured as part of the five birdies he collected in the second round.
Taverner was a consistent presence over the tournament, recording back-to-back 70s to finish runner-up.
Third place went to home professional Gary Bothwell, while Moore eventually finished in tied fourth alongside Carl Parker (Crews Hill).
Middlesex PGA secretary Steve Rist said: “Our thanks go to Haste Hill Golf Club for the use of their very interesting course and we hope to return at some future date.”
