A brace of eagles helped Great Barr Golf Club’s John Bandurak (pictured) soar to victory at the Brocton Hall Pro-Am.
His six-under-par 63 was enough for a one-shot victory over Craig Shave (Whetstone GC) whose back-to-back birdies on the final two holes left him just short of the winner.
Big-hitting Bandurak bagged the first of his eagles at the 300-yard par four fourth and he went on to repeat the feat at 363-yard par four 15th.
Shave’s five-under-par round included six birdies, a total matched by John-Paul Banbury (Moor Hall GC) who finished a further shot behind.
Nick Taylor (Kedleston Park GC) also finished on four-under and he was another to eagle the fourth.
