BB&O Chairman claims County Open title

John Kennedy (Wexham Park) returned to form with an impressive win in the BB&O Open at the Lambourne Club.

Kennedy scored a very solid four-under-par 66 over the Lambourne course in tricky conditions and fend off last year’s winner Lewis Atkinson (the Buckinghamshire), whose two-under-par 70 gave him a one-stroke advantage over Tom Fleming (Frilford Heath).

After a busy season at Wexham, it was a welcome return to the winners circle for former PGA Cup player Kennedy.

The tournament, run along with the BB&O county golf union, is open to all category one players and professionals from within the counties.
