Simon Edwards went on a birdie spree during the The PGA in England and Wales (North) Taylor Made Overseas pro-am in Portugal.
The Windermere professional reeled off 23 of them over four rounds with an eagle thrown in for good measure.
And with form like that it was hardly surprising he won by nine shots.
Former PGA Cup player Edwards, who prevailed in the corresponding event last year, trailed Mossock Hall's David Shacklady by a shot after posting a 69 in the first round at Oceanico.
He added a 67 the next day at Laranjal, a 65 at Quinta Do Lago then closed with a 69 at Monte Rei to leave the rest of the field trailing in his wake.
Richard O'Hanlon, from Cornwall club the Point at Polzeath, claimed second place, two strokes ahead of Oak Royal's Jeff Mathews.
Meanwhile, The PGA in England and Wales (North) stays on the Algarve for the Glenmuir Overseas pro-am which starts at Laranjal on Monday.
