Lincolnshire’s Paul Bradshaw (Gainsborough GC) eased his way to top spot in the Drayton Park Pro-Am, finishing two shots clear of his nearest challenger.

He bagged six birdies on his way to a four-under-par 67 around the Staffordshire course set alongside the Drayton Manor theme park.

Bradshaw (pictured) started at the 10th and made his move halfway through his round with birdies on the 15th, 17th and 18th.

Warwickshire’s former Ryder Cup player Paul Broadhurst collected three birdies on his way a final two-under-par tally – making him the only other golfer to break par.

Matthew Cort (Rothley Park GC) and Andrew Cheese (Sutton Coldfield GC) finished on level par, the latter not being helped by a double bogey on the third – the only blemish on his scorecard.
