Paul Brookes (Pitreavie) and Lochwinnoch's Gerry Reilly were the last players in the field headed the field in the PGA in Scotland's better-ball competition for pros aged 45 and over.
The duo, who were the last pair to tee off, dovetailed brilliantly over the par-70 course to shoot a 63 and claim victory at Buchanan Castle Golf Club.
They demoted the three pairs sitting in the clubhouse with 64s to their name - Kenneth Hutton (Downfield) and Andrew Crerar (Panmure), Ronan Rafferty (Monte Reid) and Brian Marchbank (unattached), ad Ian Taylor (Drumpellier) and Kenny Walker (Castle Park).
