Bursary opportunity for PGA Members

The PGA is offering its England-based members involved in coaching the opportunity to access bursaries to help with their personal development.

Applications for the Regional Coach Education Bursary Award will be open from September 1 to October 31.

The funding opportunity is designed to The PGA’s ‘Right Coach Right Place Right Time’ vision to life by ensuring the delivery of high quality coaching that meets the needs and wants of golfers, which will help drive participation and retention.

Jonathan Wright, The PGA’s coach education and development manager for England, said: “This is a one off opportunity for us to support members in England with the cost of their personal development.

“I would encourage all members to get in touch with their Regional Coaching Development Officers for more information.”

Applications for bursary’s, which could be up to 50 per cent of the cost of a training course/qualification (maximum £2000), will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
