Cambridgeshire rule

The annual challenge between the professionals of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, run by the Beds and Cambs PGA, ended in victory for Cambridgeshire by six matches to four at John O’Gaunt Golf Club (above).

Honours were even after the morning foursomes but Cambridgeshire won the afternoon better ball round.
