Campbell claims Whitewebbs prize

Ian Campbell (Cheshunt Park) showed that he will once again be a force to contend with in 2017, clinching victory in the Whitewebbs Park Pro-Am.

Campbell, 36, finished second in the overall rankings race in the PGA in England (East) last season.

His game remains in top form as he demonstrated with a four-under-par round of 64 to beat Michael Moore (Pinner Hill) by a shot.

Craig Donaldson (Top Golf) and James Ruebotham (Welwyn Garden City) were tied-third after respective rounds of 68.

Donaldson led the winning team on 87 points. The club raised £135.00 for Cancer Support with a 'hit the green' initiative on the opening par-3.
