The PGA will tee up the Good, the Bad and the Ugly when it takes its England Coaching Conference on the road for the first time in April.
Day-long presentations have been lined up in four regions – East, Midlands, North and South West - with Dr Richard Bailey’s Spaghetti Western themed titled seminar among the most eye-catching.
Organisers hope running the conferences regionally will enable more PGA Members to attend.
Dr Bailey gives a fascinating perspective of coaching science, explaining how it can be used or abused by practitioners in the field.
Also headlining is Warwick Andrews of Logic Edge who provides an overview of a recent study commissioned by the PGA exploring the golfer’s perceptions and attitudes towards coaching.
If you are interested to know what your customers want from your coaching and what you can do to encourage them to take-up coaching on a more sustained basis, then this presentation will provide you with real customer feedback that can help your coaching business!
Meanwhile providing the practical element to the conference will be PGA tutors who will provide an in-depth overview of the Level 3 qualification and the process of the level 3 technical assessment.
If you are a current student or considering being one in the future, this session will equip you with the answers you need!
The day-long conference runs from 9am-5pm and costs £42.
