Coles shines at Brentwood

Robbie Coles took advantage of glorious sunshine to sparkle with a fine six under par 66 in the first Brentwood Pro-Am.

The Maylands Golf and Country Club pro flew in to compete having earned a top 20 finish in the European Tour event in Denmark.

His good form continued and the only blemish came with an untimely bogey on the par three 18^th.

This was good enough to take first prize by three shots from Jason Levermore of Channels Golf Club who was two ahead of a three way tie for third between Mark Davis of Thorndon Park Golf Club, Steve Cipa from South Essex Golf Centre and Craig Donaldson from Top Golf Chigwell.

In the team competition, an impressive 85 points from the team of Coles with amateurs Gavin Wright, Alan Clark and Larry Gazzard was enough to complete a clean sweep for the man from Maylands.
