Corsby's happy being under par

David Corsby (above right with PGA Lancs secretary Andy Duncan) was the only player to beat par during the PGA in Lancs tour fixture at wet and windy Rossendale.

The Fleetwood assistant returned a one-under 71 which contained a trio of birdies and two bogeys.

Runner-up, three shots back, was Mike Bardi who teaches at the host club's driving range.

Joint third on 73 were Mossock Hall's David Shacklady and Pike Fold professional Grant Hamerton.
