Matthew Cort’s winning run continued when he took the honours at his home event – the Rothley Park Pro-Am.
And his victory means the in-form Leicestershire golfer has not lost any of his opening four competitions – sharing the honours three times before racing to a two-shot win at Rothley Park.
Cort recorded a four-under par 67, a round without a dropped shot, to take him clear of Matt McGuire (Stoneleigh Deer Park GC) who finished on two-under.
Three other players broke par for a share of third place. A last hole birdie came just in the nick of time for Ian Walley (Kedleston Park GC) and he finished alongside Jak Hamblett (Handsworth Park) and Paul Streeter (Lincoln Golf Centre).
