Christopher Currie (Caldwell) and Chris Kelly tied for first place in the £7,450 Sandyhills Golf Club pro-am.

In very windy conditions, which turned very wet for the last five groups to finish, Currie and Kelly both shot one-under-par 69s to earn £1,237 each.

Currie birdied the first, 10th, 11th and 13th in halves of 37-32. He bogeyed the second, ninth and 14th.

Kelly's halves of 37-32 had birdies at the 11th, 16th and 18th with bogeys at the eighth and 12th.
