Chris Cutchie (Colchester) secured his first win of the season with a four-under-par round at the South Herts Pro-Am.
Cutchie shot 68 to triumph by two strokes from Andy Shakespear (Warren), Mitch Kierstenson (East Herts) and Mark Stokes (Bishop’s Stortford).
A tied-fifth finish a week before at the East Herts Pro-Am showed that Cutchie was close to his best form.
And seven days later in north London he proved the point in a round that contained six birdies.
Cutchie made gains at three holes on both nines, including a birdie at the concluding par-4 to ease away from his rivals.
It was a double celebration for the Colchester man as he also led his quartet to a comprehensive success in the team pro-am.
They finished on a tally of 121 – no less than eleven better than three teams tied on 132.
