Craig Everett and Stewart Savage, Dalmuir Golf Club, made a worthwhile journey up North from Scotland's Central Belt this week to win the PGA in Scotland's Winter Four-ball tournament at the classic links of Nairn Golf Club.
Everett and Savage had a better ball of seven-under-par 64 but even a score as good gave them only a one-stroke victory at the head of a field of 12 pairs.
Runners-up were the local partnership of Fraser Cromarty and Sean Burgess with a 65.
Sean Fay and Gary Dingwall, who came down from one famous links - Royal Dornoch - to another in Nairn, finished third with a 66.
