Mark Davis, a two-time European Tour winner, came out on top at Toot Hill in the Essex PGA Open Championship.
Davis, 49, enjoyed a successful career on Europe's premier circuit and twice claimed the Austrian Open title.
The Thorndon Park-attached golfer proved he still has winning ways with a two-shot triumph in his latest tournament.
Talented amateur Elliott Oxlade ran him close with rounds of 66 and 68. But Davis, who led at the halfway stage after firing a five-under-par 65, remained in control and carded an afternoon 67 to secure success.
He ended with an eight-under-par total of 132, while Oxlade was back on 134. Matthew Southgate (Thorpe Hall), another with European Tour experience, shot back-to-back 68s to land third place.
