Chase Davis made it four pro-am victories this season when finishing one shot to the good at Eaton.
The Stapleford Abbotts PGA Professional shot a four-under-par 66 to triumph from joint runners-up Michael Few (Weston Park) and Ian Ellis (Great Yarmouth & Caister).
Davis opened up with a birdie and added two more on his front nine, with a blemish coming at the challenging par-four third hole.
Back-to-birdies from the 11th kept up his victory bid and he moved to five-under when picking up another stroke at the par-five 16th.
Davis did drop a shot at the last but it didn’t prove damaging as his nearest two rivals made bogey at both of the closing holes.
Their slips left Davis out in front, just as he was in pro-ams at Stock Brook, Saffron Walden and East Herts.
Chris Cutchie (Colchester) led the successful team on a tally of 124.
