Diamond Golf Launches Club-Fitting Academy

Diamond Golf International has launched an in-house Academy to teach the art of professional club repair, club fitting and club making.   

Based in a new, purpose-built workshop facility and classroom at its West Sussex (UK) headquarters, a prospectus of specially-designed courses is now available for the beginner right up to the more experienced club fitter/maker.  

Professionals of all standards, experience and knowledge can attend the DGI Academy courses, with modules including two, three & four day seminars.  

DGI Academy courses are certificated and carry points towards any PGA Pro’s CPD record with group sizes being kept small (6-10 people) to allow for hands-on one-to-one tuition.  

Tuition will be provided by Diamond Golf's Doug Holmes and guest speaker Clive Crisell:

Doug Holmes - DGI Academy Manager

Doug is a master club fitter and maker and has worked at Diamond Golf for 20 years. He’s been teaching courses on club fitting, club making and repairs for many years and has amassed vast experience in the field of club technology. 

Clive Crisell - Professional Club Maker & Club Fitter

Clive has over 30 years of experience working with golfers at all levels of the game. His knowledge and skill are respected by pros across Europe and he is still relied on by many touring pros for equipment advice.
