Former PGA Cup player Richard Dinsdale achieved his third success of the season with a blemish-free five-under-par 67 at the Bowood 25th Anniversary pro-am in Wiltshire.

The former Newport Golf club and Parc Golf Club professional, who now represents Asbri Golf, was out in 33 with birdies at the third, fifth and sixth. He returned in 34 with gains at the 12th and 18th to bank £840.

He shared his previous wins in the Taunton and Pickeridge 125th AnnIversary pro-am and at the Gwalia Housing Trust event at Langland Bay.

Lee Thompson (Dudsbury) invariably features near the top and claimed another runners-up spot one shot behind. He dropped his only shot at the second but made birdies at the third, fourth, ninth, 12th and 17th.
