Double delight for Dinsdale

Richard Dinsdale, the head PGA Professional at Parc Golf Club in Newport, has become the new business development manager and brand ambassador at leading logo accessory company, Asbri Golf – sponsors of the Welsh National PGA Championship.

Asbri Golf, a Ryder Cup licensee when it was hosted at Celtic Manor and official suppliers to the 2014 Senior Open, has carved out a reputation as a quality bespoke merchandise with fantastic customer service since it was formed in 2005.

Dinsdale’s appointment comes at a time of significant growth for the Welsh based company which has enjoyed record sales for 2014 with year on year growth since its inception.

Paul Williams, sales and marketing director, commented: “Richard brings into our business a wealth of contacts, experience and PGA knowledge that will add significant strength to our existing sales team across the UK.

“With Richard joining us, we can further our customer service and coverage and I am sure customers will give him a very warm reception as he’s a highly respected figure in the golf industry.

“We are equally excited to have Richard as a playing brand ambassador for us and he certainly has an exciting few weeks coming up on the course.”

The former European Tour player finished third on The PGA in England & Wales (South West) Order of  Merit and heads off to Turkey for the Titleist PGA Play-Offs at the end of November.

If the week is a successful one, there is a chance of achieving a number of European Tour starts in 2015, including the BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth which Richard previously qualified for in 2011 after winning the Order of Merit in 2010.

“My position as head professional remains unchanged and I look forward to dedicating my time between both the Parc Golf Club and Asbri to develop both businesses.

"It’s all come at a very exciting time and with the playoffs in Turkey approaching, I am looking forward to doing the best I can, both on and off the golf course and flying the flag for both Parc Golf Club and Asbri Golf.”
