Double for Gill

Newquay club professional Chris Gill achieved a winning double at the latest Cornwall Professional Golfers' Alliance at Falmouth.
He shot one-under-par 69 to take the individual professional award with 37 points.
The former West Region order of merit champion finished two shots clear of Grant Slater (Trevose) in pleasant, sunny conditions.
His round included three twos which also helped victory in the pairs with amateur partner club colleague Neil Woolfrey with 42 points.
They won on countback from Slater and Dave Holland (Falmouth) with Falmouth pair Mickie Doust and Dave Walsh third, also on countback.
