Robert Arnott had back to back eagles on his way to tieing for victory with Buchanan Castle's Jason McCreadie at the Cawder Pro-Am.
The pair carded six-under-par 64s with Arnott's double eagle feat enabling the Bishopbriggs Golf Range pro to cover his last 10 holes in seven under par.
McCreadie, a man renowned for low numbers, also had a pair of eagles - at the seventh and 12th - and had enough birdies as well to allow him to cancel out back to back bogeys at the 14th and 15th.
Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) had a bogey-free 65 for third place while Thailand-based Kenny Walker, home for his summer sojourn on the Tartan Tour, finished fourth, also with a bogey-free card of 66.
James McGhee piloted the Trane UK Ltd amateur trio of KennyJohnston, Jim Scullion and Ricky Byrne to victory in the team event with a 16-under-par total of 124.
