Simon Edwards led from wire to wire in the PGA in England and Wales (North) England's Golf Coast Pro-am.
And the Windermere professional saved the best to the last when he completed the final five holes at Royal Birkdale with three birdies and an eagle.
His six-under-par 66 put him out of sight of the rest of the field in the 54-hole competition in which he posted 71 in the first round at Formby and matched the figure in the next at West Lancs.
Edwards, on minus eight all told, finished 10 strokes ahead of runner-up Aran Wainwright, from Mid Yorks.
It was his second win of the year following his success in the Golfbreaks.com Pinehurst Pro-am at Kiawah Island's Turtle Point last month.
