Gazing, specialists in mindset development, are set to host the Red2Blue workshop, helping PGA Members to elevate their mental performance and decision-making in high stress situations.
When the pressure is on and the difference between a good performance and an exceptional performance can be decided by mindset. The Red2Blue workshop is designed to help PGA Members master clear thinking under pressure, turning it into a skill rather than a challenge.
Participants will learn to manage the 'what ifs’, plan for potential pressures, and establish mental routines. The course equips people with the tools to enhance overall performance in a range of competitive golf environments and leadership contexts.
The Red2Blue framework excels in teaching control over thoughts, reactions, and performance. Their approach, which has benefited elite teams such as the New Zealand All-Blacks Rugby Team, focuses on the double gaze: keeping one eye on immediate situations and the other on the broader perspective. This method equips you with the structure, skills, and mindset needed for peak performance when it matters most.
The workshop focuses on developing practical skills for immediate use, enabling participants to enhance their performance on and off the golf course by learning to handle pressure with clarity and confidence. With this workshop being supported by PGA Professional and Red2Blue coach Maria Tulley, participants will hear firsthand experiences of the practical benefits that fellow PGA members have experienced since adopting the Red2Blue techniques.
"Participants will develop their mindset skills using Red2Blue so that they can perform at their best in the moments that matter." Explains Gazing CEO, Martin Fairn. He added: "The sessions are fully interactive with group tasks that allow participants to apply Red2Blue strategies to real-life scenarios, drawn from our own experience of training golfers and management teams to perform at their best."
The Red2Blue workshop is available for all PGA Members and Trainees, taking place at the PGA National Training Academy at The Belfry for one day on Thursday, September 26th.
It is now available to book via the PGA Learn Dashboard, for a subsidised price of £99 (originally £149). To book this course or to find out more, click HERE.
This course can only run if minimum numbers are achieved, so please support the event and encourage other PGA Members to do so.
