Great Yarmouth and Caister pro Ian Ellis overcame tricky conditions to win the top professional prize in the Norfolk PGA pro-am at Thetford.
The fast greens proved challenging but Ellis still managed to sign for a one-over-par round of 73 to beat Mark Allen (Eaton) by a single shot.
Ellis, who will be one of the PGA in England (East) representatives in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in May, also won the first Norfolk PGA event of the year at Hunstanton.
Caroline Grady (De Vere Dunston Hall) and Suffolk raider Neil Mitchell (Bury Golf Range) were joint third with 76. Fifth place went to the experienced Mike Jubb of Sheringham with 78.
Tim Lond-Caulke (Diss Golf Centre), former Suffolk county player Wendy Airey, Barry Day and Ross Bailey won the team prize with nine-under-par 135. They had five shots to spare over runners-up Ellis, Randy Reynolds, Brad Smith and Thain Hacon.
Third place went to Sam Cubitt (De Vere Dunston Hall), Simon Stevens, John Rix and Tony Cowan with 143. The fourth team was Mark Spooner (Bawburgh), Richard Hatch, John Anderton and Stuart Meale with 142.
