There was impressive scoring at the Heineken Three Rivers Pro-Am with top honours shared by two players from Rayleigh Golf Range.
Mark Hooper (pictured), runaway leader in this year’s Virgin Atlantic PGA in England (East) Order of Merit, and Mark Stokes who is in the senior ranks both signed for rounds of four-under-par 68.
James Scade (Little Channels), Jason Levermore (Channels) and Mark Baker (Colchester) all carded three-under-par to complete the dominance of Essex players.
Three Rivers tournament professional James Webber was joint sixth with Noel Quinn of Whipsnade Park. They both returned scores of two-under-par with Ian Ellis (Costessey Park) completing the eight sub-par players with one-under. Strangely there were no eagles recorded.
Webber brought in the winning team of Jack Lamb, Ashley Dixon and Fernando Teixeira with 16-under-par on count back from a team with Baker. The team with Stokes took third place at 14-under-par.
