Euan shines at Kingsfield

Euan Macdonald from Musselburgh and his team of Jack Gallacher, Logan McKeon and Oliver Henderson were winners of the Stephen Gallacher Foundation Texas Scramble nine-hole pro-am competition at Kingsfield Golf Centre.

They headed a field of 21 teams of four with a score of 29. Euan also won the Stuart Hutchison Memorial Trophy.

The family of Stuart Hutchison, a young assistant killed in a car accident a few years ago, presented the trophy for the leading assistant. The top three assistant pros shared a prize fund of £500 (£250, £150, £100).
