Field and Watts claim top spot

Daniel Field (East Herts) and James Watts (Kingsway Golf Centre) triumphed in the region’s first ever  PGA Benevolent Fund Four-ball Better-Ball competition.

The duo racked up 46 points at Hendon to win by two.  It was fitting that Field was part of the winning combination in the inaugural event as he is the East’s captain for 2018.

The day was hugely enjoyed by all of the 18 pairs and looks sure to grow in years to come.

Murray White and Mitch Kierstenson (East Herts) were runners-up, while Ian Taylor (Essendon) and Ash Smith (East Herts) took third place.
