Jason Levermore started with a bogey, but finished with a birdie to clinch a one-shot victory in the Brookmans Park Pro-Am.
Levermore made a superb total of eight birdies overall in shooting a fine five-under-par 66.
That was one better than Nicholas Cunningham and Mark Hooper – who edged out Levermore by a shot a day earlier in the Thorndon Park Invitational Pro-Am.
Levermore turned the tables on his rival despite slipping up on his opening hole – the par-four 10th.
But it wasn’t long before he was going in the right direction, getting to two-under by his eighth.
There were real fireworks from Levermore from his 11th as he made four birdies inside five holes.
His challenge appeared to be stuttering when he dropped a shot at his penultimate hole.
But Levermore didn’t panic and closed out with a two at his last, a 149-yard par-three.
It was the Channels professional’s fourth win on the 2014 PGA in England (East) tournament schedule.
